2.28 will also herald support for the Franklin U300 dual-mode 3G/4G USB modem under Windows 7 as well as streamlining of the initial connection process, a new “Switch to 4G button” for 4G devices, an increase in peak download speed to 3.1 Mbps and peak upload speed to 1.8 Mbps for aircards and Snow Leopard support, with no Franklin U300 support on Mac OS X at this time.
